Suzie Del Vecchio, of Italian and Mexican parents, was born and raised in southern California. She is a special and emotional voice that encompasses many angles of art. From operatic tones to pop, dance, r&b and even rap, she comes from many musical influences in different languages and cultures, fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Not only is she a beautiful voice, but her beauty and extremely sensitive soul extends inside out and she has a magical presence on the stage. Naturally timid, music transforms Suzie into a special force as soon as she stands on the stage and music begins.

Her love for dance music originated when her younger brother took a hobby as a young trance DJ at the age of 9. Listening to Swedish Egil’s Groove Radio 103.1 in the mid 90’s when she was growing up, she was instantly hooked, dreaming of beautiful dance festivals and onstage performances…

Suzie began her much desired music career after first completing a degree in Communication at UCSD. She moved to Mexico City to pursue acting when she was admitted to the prestigious Televisa Artistic Academy (CEA), where they discovered her operatic voice. She began training first in Opera, but was eventually pulled aside to form an all girl band with legendary Mexican Producer Luis de Llano, and signed to the newly ventured EMI/Televisa Music, leading the Mexican soccer team anthem in the World Cup to Germany 2006. As the frontgirl for the all girl band, Chic Pack, she made over 200 shows all over Mexico, LA, Miami and NY, including numerous performances in the massive and famous Estadio Azteca which holds an audience of 110,000 people.

Suzie was then invited to host the most important electronic music video show for the Televisa music network Telehit for Mas Label Music. It is here where she welcomed top DJ’s from around the world such as Markus Schulz, ATB, Armin, Richie Hawtin, Dj Dan, Above and Beyond, and especially legendary Paul Oakenfold into Mexico and Latin America as part of a TV music video show that reaches 60 countries in the Spanish Speaking World.

Upon leaving her girl band in Mexico, Suzie began writing and recording tracks that defined her essence, styles, and emotions…experimenting different sounds with underground dance producers. She moved back home to LA to focus on her solo music project.

One of the last massive DJ shows she covered for her electronic TV Show in Mexico in late 2007 was Paul Oakenfold. Upon meeting in Mexico City they spoke of a possible collaboration in the future. Then after listening to a track titled “Honey Nights” she collaborated on with Mexican DJ Alyosha, which reached number 1 on Beat 100.9 2007, Mexico’s top Anglo station, Paul Oakenfold traced the voice back to Suzie now in LA and they began to try songs and work on tracks.

Produced by Paul Oakenfold and co-written by Suzie, the first single titled “Mesmerized,” caught the interest of major Mexican film producers Alfredo Harp Jr. and Chris Hool and was quickly licensed to the film and soundtrack “Volverte a Ver.” The track drew so much attention it ended up on Mexico’s top Anglo/Dance station Beat 100.9 before its’ due release and hit number 1 within a few days and peaked at number 1 for 2 months, and in the Top Ten for 6 months 2009! Later it won the song of the year 2009 out of 109 total tracks released in the course of the year in a marathon held for Christmas 2009 on Beat 100.9 FM Mexico City.

Paul Oakenfold has prepared “Mesmerized” for a global release under Perfecto Records with several remixes by respected DJ Producers around the world, such as Perfecto artists Adam White in the UK, Swedish Egil & Carl Noren, Robert Vadney in Greece, Joey Modus, Hirofumi Ohta in Japan, Mark Lewis, Dario Gomez, Salcedo and Brindesi of Mexico, Chema Dezarate and Manzano, Maysa Moura and Anthony Garcia in Brazil, and more. The anticipated release has led to much interest for live performances around the world, and currently Suzie is preparing a release party performance of “Mesmerized” with Paul Oakenfold and Perfecto Rain, his Las Vegas residency at the Palms, as well as upcoming live performances in different countries.

Suzie is planning to record her solo album with the production of Paul Oakenfold and hopes to capture the essence of her emotions, range and styles in music with electronic and pop/rock/hip-hop/dance elements with the legendary and visionary DJ Producer, who she admires and respects.

May 2010 brought the surprise of a fun and hot World Cup song for Mexico 2010 produced by Paul Oakenfold, bringing back Suzie’s love for soccer and music together. “Viva Mexico” instantly became the official World Cup track for Mexico’s Top 40 Radio network MVS EXA FM and surpassed the ratings of Shakira’s and Bisbal/Knaan’s tracks. Premiering for LA on Latin station Super Estrella 107.1, it became an instant hit.

Suzie is not only an astonishing performer and dancer, but a talented songwriter and singer in all her languages, and stands strong to deliver her light and energy with each track, as emotions and love are the force behind her lyrics and melodies. A bit of an insomniac and quite the romantic dreamer Suzie describes not being able to live every minute without music in the background.

“Mesmerized” just brings the beginning with this special new solo singer of the new generation, determined to captivate and share the love and energy of music!

As she says and defends, “Music transcends dimensions, you can hear it but you can’t touch it, yet it’s just like love, intangible

but undeniable.”
